Sister M Bernadette de Lourdes is the Mother Superior of the Carmelite Sisters, a society of Catholic nuns whose goal is to care the the aged and infirm.
Mother Bernadette helped establish this society which is in its second century. Her claim to fame is that she established the standard for health care for the aged in the United States.
She has been honored by seven presidents and other dignitaries from around the globe and at ninety four, is as active as ever in keeping with her mission which is to help those who cannot help themselves.
The documentary traces her life and her contribution in
establishing the standard for healthcare in this country.
